Simon Beck is a snow artist who creates huge designs in the snow by simply walking in a pair of snowshoes. He believes that inspiration goes before motivation, and nature’s perfect patterns inspire him to create something new every time out. This short documentary by Flash Studio follows Beck’s preparations for a piece he did in Stryn, Norway, on a day of good snow. Watch and join him as he catches a first glimpse of a masterpiece that, after many steps and calculations, would most likely be covered in two days. Follow Simon on Instagram HERE

Green Renaissance

We must teach our children to smell the earth, to taste the rain, to touch the wind, to see things grow. Our children have always decided the future. Let them choose one that aligns with our earth.  “Encourage your kids to look for nature everywhere you go. It’s the weed breaking through the pavement, It’s the leaves forming small clumps along the side of the road. It’s the sky at any given time of the day or night. It’s the wind doing what it likes to your hair. Look around, it won’t take long to find it.” ~Penny Whitehouse

Green Renaissance

“Every single day I live life. It is living today. It’s not about ‘someday I’ll do this’… that may never come. You do it now.’

Joel made a decision to move out of the city, and create a more natural way of life for himself. And the positive benefits on his health have been incredible. Take a listen to his story…

How wonderful life is while you’re in the world

How wonderful life is while you’re in the world

 [John  Lewis]

This year’s story is about the power of a gift. And how that gift inspired, changed and influenced the course of a little boy’s life. That little boy just happens to be Elton John. The film begins in present day and works backwards chronologically through Elton’s life right until the moment on Christmas morning when he received the special gift that changed his life.

Your Song Lyrics

It’s a little bit funny this feeling inside
I’m not one of those who can easily hide
I don’t have much money but boy if I did
I’d buy a big house where we both could live

If I was a sculptor, but then again, no
Or a man who makes potions in a traveling show
I know it’s not much but it’s the best I can do
My gift is my song and this one’s for you

And you can tell everybody this is your song
It may be quite simple but now that it’s done
I hope you don’t mind
I hope you don’t mind that I put down in words
How wonderful life is while you’re in the world
